OptimRush is a product of Unqode. It scans your website, reads your Google Search Console data if you connect it, and uses AI to suggest SEO and marketing actions and to draft content. This page explains what we collect, why, who else touches it, and how you can control it. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@unqode.com.

What we collect

  • Account details. Your name and email address, and a password if you sign up with email (stored hashed by our authentication provider, never in readable form). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
  • Your business and website details. The website address you give us, plus information we read from your public pages or that you enter yourself: business name, industry, description, competitors you list, logo, social links and similar.
  • Website scan results. When you run a scan we fetch your public pages and store what we find: titles, descriptions, headings, text excerpts, links, images, load times and the issues we detect.
  • Google Search Console data, only if you connect it. Search queries, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, device and country breakdowns, sitemap status and URL inspection results for the property you choose. We also store the access and refresh tokens Google gives us so we can fetch this data for you.
  • Content you create. Marketing calendar entries, content the AI drafts for you, items you save to your library, and the platforms and budget you tell us about.
  • An email you give us during onboarding, if you enter one before creating an account.
  • Basic technical data. Your browser keeps a sign-in session so you stay logged in, and our hosting providers keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, request time) for security and debugging. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics in the app.

Competitor websites you ask us to read

If you name competitors, our crawler (OptimRushBot) reads their public pages, obeying robots.txt. We keep page addresses, titles, headings, links and a short text excerpt to compare topics for you. We do not republish those pages, and the people who run those sites can block the crawler.

How we use it

  • To run OptimRush: show your site audit, traffic data, opportunities and strategy, and generate the content you ask for.
  • To keep the service secure, fix bugs and prevent abuse.
  • To contact you about your account or about changes to the service.

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers.

Google user data

OptimRush asks for one Google permission: read-only access to your Search Console data (the webmasters.readonly scope). We cannot change anything in your Search Console account with it.

OptimRush's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In practice that means:

  • We use your Search Console data only to provide the features you see in OptimRush.
  • We do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide those features, to comply with law, or as part of a business transfer with notice to you.
  • We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train any AI or machine learning model, ours or anyone else's.
  • Our staff do not read your Google data unless you ask us to for support, it is needed to investigate abuse or a security problem, or the law requires it.

AI processing

To write recommendations and drafts, we send the relevant parts of your project (for example your business description, page titles and excerpts, and the top search queries and their numbers) to Google's Gemini API, together with your instructions. We send what the request needs, not your whole account. The AI's output is stored with your project so you can come back to it.

Who else handles your data

  • Supabase hosts our database, sign-in system and backend functions.
  • Vercel hosts the website and web app.
  • Google provides Google sign-in, the Search Console API and the Gemini API.

They process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices. Their servers may be in countries other than yours. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. You can disconnect Search Console inside OptimRush at any time, which deletes the stored Google tokens, and you can revoke OptimRush's access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete your account and everything stored for it, email hello@unqode.com from your account address and we will delete it within 30 days. Routine backups may hold copies for a short period after that.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honour them.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to every project is limited to the account that owns it, and sign-in tokens are verified on our servers for each request. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

OptimRush is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change we will update the date above and, for changes that affect how we use your data, tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
